So I have had kitchens on the brain. I am in search of the elements of a perfect kitchen. Our kitchen is in desperate need of change and update {think bad California track house kitchen circa 1998}. I am desperately in love with the grey paint idea for the cabinets but I love free standing storage pieces for the space also. See picture #3 I found this in Canadian House and Home - however I would love to see this kitchen from another angle. I cannot find the rest of the photos of this house anywhere- of course it is from an issue in 2007- hello!
Anyway- if you have seen it please send me the link!!

If I could design a kitchen from scratch my mind would explode. So many gorgeous..gorgeous kitchens that all of us see on any given day. The first photo has so much that I am drawn to. I would so love a huge farm table smack dab in the middle, just to say, 'pull up a comfy chair & help me chop'. Next week I'll see an ultra modern kitchen & change my mind once again! x deb
My fave is number two, but the island bench in number 3 is fabulous!
Look forward to seeing all of your perfect kitchen elements put together :)
The first image is my favorite! That table with the upholstered benches is stunning!

Do you know what month in 2007 the Canadian House & Home picture is from? Unless someone in my family got into my magazine stash, I have all the issues in 2007. Let me know - I'll scan them in and email it to you. Michele

I have designed 3 kitchens now, from the ground up and it is an awful lot of work and every time I finished, I saw something that I wished I had done differently. But the feeling of accomplishment is great!
I can't decide between the first and the second photos..
I am in the smallest kitchen I have had .. maybe ever.. so I am loving all those surfaces to put things and do things.
And the light .. that wonderful light !
I love this blog and seem to be slightly addicted ~
Do you have the source for the last picture? I am dying to find out the color of the cabinets. Thanks.
Angela,
The last photo is from Cote de Texas.
Angela,
It looks like the color is Benjamin Moore Fieldstone. I hope this helps!
Here is a link to the post...http://cotedetexas.blogspot.com/2010/07/another-kitchen-ala-sally-wheat.html
