Both of these spaces are pretty clean and simple. But which do you prefer? I think I like a few more accessories? I feel lost in a space without that personal touch. Or is it a personal touch when you choose not to really accessorize?

I like them both, but the first one is so clean that it reminds me of a chiropractors office. More is more lovely!
a few accessories for sure. although I have come to love spare, the first image is too spare for me (but I will take that floor, any day.) Love the quirky pieces in the second image - what is that wall pair below the antelope mount....? a fun look. thanks!
I'm finding that over time, my taste is shifting from the first two the second. I keep adding more "stuff" to my home (and my clients) and I like it. I don't think I'll ever start to like 'clutter' but a collected aesthetic speaks to me a lot more now than it used to.
top one has lots of books which is great. Imagine sitting in these rooms if it weren't your house.. What would interest you? I like to look at belongings...doesn't have to be alot..but I have a better time in someones house if they have a lot of stuff to look at, find out stories behind the stuff...but mind you, only quality not quanity..Cynthia
i need accessories!
While I am adverse to those specific accessories (I draw the line at hanging animals on my wall)I am drawn to rooms with that collected-over-time look. The first one is nice, but it sort of feels like a furnished rental for an executive.

I gravitate to the first. Sort of surprising bc I am very much an accessory girl. Although now that I really think about it, I'm more about accessories in fashion than interiors. Interesting...

#2, but I like the color palette of both. Accessories warm up an all-white interior so that it's not so stark.

I love the bones and floor of no 1, but have to agree that it is otherwise too bold and bare.
