Darryl Carter - The New Traditional home - Keeping it simple and interesting

I cannot tell you how long I have been looking for these pictures... I pulled them out of the Elle Decor I had and somehow misplaced them.  I was so happy to run across them on their site.. Now I can share how much I simply adore them with you.

Each image just seems so relaxed and planned but unplanned.  Darryl Carter's talent makes me have faith in great design.  The bedroom and bath in the first two pictures are my absolute favorite..

I like how he combines stunning patinaed pieces within the clean look. And that "headboard" in charcoal- yum!

I freaking love his work. You know he went to law school? No design background. Amazing.

Doug- I think you either have it or you don't... school is just for fine tuning and learning the "rules"

Yes these are truly fantastic. I have drooled over them for ever as well. He works his magic and marriages old with new, rustic with classic so well. Love old nightclub doors he used for the bed heads. Quirky.
