That second photo is so appealing.. drawing you to sit in a well used chair, with a warm wrap to snuggle down , by a fire, with a book ... lovely.
LOVE the frist photo! So pretty.Teresa (Splendid Sass)
Top image is very much like my house, before the rail and the corbeils were removed in the '70s. Inspiring.
Love the staircase, everything in it.
There it is: the ultimate, always, and forevermore floor of my dreams [excluding painted floor in hallway and stairwell]. Faded Orientals of varying sizes laid around here and there, maybe even overlapping at times. Perfection. Thanks for the photos, going directly into permanent file. F.
I love blue as an accent and some of the lovely fabrics but am not a fan of blue walls unless they are so faint they are almost white.
I love the first image. After a few years of collecting I now have some gorgeous, unspoilt bevel mirrors I have put up in my home. The chandeleir just coimpletes the picture...
but of coursethey are verygrey bluewallslook great
oh those walls in the second and third image...I LOVE that color. it's very difficult to capture with the right hue, very well done here
I've been considering blue for my bedroom walls... this may have convinced me!
I love the painted floor runners!
Love the painted stairs!
These are GORGEOUS. Either light, refreshing and cool, or warm, inviting and cozy... *sigh*
There is something about blue that sets the mind at ease and asks you to sit and stay awhile.
this house is fabulous. love your style. diana @ dianashaedecor.com
I LOVE! the second shot...the narrow hall opening into an expanse of space. The polished wood of the table contrasting with the rough floors, the texture of the rug and upholstery. Just great.
