Is it possible to be too inspired? I have been aching for a change around the house as summer seems to be coming to a close. I love fall and I feel like I need to make some kind of change.. small or large.
We have been working on a project in the front garden here at the house that is finally becoming complete. Now just the planting is left which I am very excited for (as long as we don't get too much more heat). I have been having vintage finds reupholstered and been giving so much thought to painting in the dining room.. (my husband says I need to relax!!!) Sorry cannot do it- I am overly inspired!
You? Are you ever unsure where to concentrate your efforts when inspiration hits (over and over again)?

It is true, never cease to reinvent the decoration of our homes. It is proof that our are alive. Happens to Me exactly the same to me. I am Always in constant renewal. Greetings
I have to agree. I love to reinvent or just tweek a room or go back and enhance something. It does make the house a home and bring a breath of change into it.
I do not like to be stagnate, change is something that I love to embrace. If you do things correctly, you can always evolve your home without making things toodifficult.
The smallest to the largest item can really work to enhance a room.

I am always inspired and these blogs don't help sometimes as they give me to many ideas. Love these photos, thanks for sharing!
I get Inspiration Overdose every time I open your blog !!
I want everything I see and walk around looking at my rooms and feeling dissatisfied .. it is all your fault :)
I know how you feel... mine is in reverse, Spring is on the way in and I want my rooms to reflect it.
Always enjoying your blogs.. C

OMG! This is my life right now. Over inspired, under funded, itching for a change! AAAARRRGGGHHH!! Thanks for letting me vent. I needed that.
I think the change heading into fall has us all seriously inspired!
Always. I blame pretty blogs like yours.
I am always inspired but luckily I know my limits; budget, space, and more budget.
I console myself with the repetition of the phrase "someday soon you will move to a big house and have lots of money."
It hasn't worked yet.
I am always changing things, maybe more in my head then I manage to do in real because lack of time.
My bf (always the sensible one) has made me promise to concentrate on one room at a time in our new house. So instead of having 8 partially-done rooms, I have one 90% completed (breathes a sigh of relief) and now it's on to the next... I must admit, it is difficult to reign it in with the all the amazing eye candy on offer in blogs such as this! I'm continually inspired and consistently restrained - by time, by budget, by space... it's a never-ending battle.
We are ever changing people, so our homes should be ever changing
I love your blog so much, a dear friend sent it to me and I want you to know that I look forward to every post. You never disappoint! These photos take my breath away! Thank you for the inspiration!
Yes! I have definitely experienced inspiration overload. I just take a step back when that happens.

your killing me!!!
I am like that by nature - always have a 100 projects going on all at the same time. My husband is very laid back which is great. I rev him up and he calms me down. A perfect match! :)
I know how you feel about 'too much heat' - that is our Sydney Summers to a tee. After months of it I am usually so ready for Autumn and Winter..
Enjoy your new energy and make the most of it.

So nice to see that you are also inspired by my images!
Have a wonderful week!

Absolutely! We are moving soon, and I am overwhelmed, I keep going from one thing to the next. Yesterday I reupholstered dining room chair cushions and painted a chest of drawers, who knows what I will do today! I have design ADD!
*** Yep, that's me to a T!!! "Soooooo many inspirations... so little time" (and I don't even work~ "outside the home" or otherwise!~ except for ON our home, which is "my baby"!!!)... I cannot stagnate... now THAT scares me!!!
I also happen to think one's idiosyncracies (sp?) keeps one "INTERESTING", IF NOTHING ELSE!!!
As always, girlfriend, LOVVVVE your blog!!!
Warmest,

That happens to me all the time! I can even keep myself awake at night designing or re-designing rooms in our home! You have my complete sympathy and understanding---but if you can capitalize on it I'd imagine there will be an amazing design change in your future. :-)
I think mental flexibility is the definition of creative people. We like to mix metaphors verbally, and visually. Our brains are like remote controls, and we change channels with great facility. This has lately been defined as Attention Deficit Syndrome. People like us, need to never take the meds, stay the way we are, and partner with executive, anal people. My book keeper wants to bludgeon me! She also wants me to rearrange her furniture, and help her with her house! Ca Va.
