I love how this little space has so much interest. I find that art and accessories are so personal. Do you have a great many objects of interest? How do you display them?
I so agree; I love old crosses, anything horn and hinged shell boxes. Not to mention canes and of course equine inspired anything. I think it makes a house a home. L.
We collect little objects of 'beauty' throughout our travels ~ roman tiles, a heart-shaped rock from our favorite beach, coins, a dried flower from Provence, etc., etc. ~ and they all sit beautifully together in our office or upon our bedside table ~ so each time we pass by we are reminded of the special time they were discovered and where and how we felt at that very moment.
I have a collection of Art Nouveau candlesticks .. they are all frogs. They are on the coffee table, with an antique Chinese basket that is a part of my basket collection.. and a part of my Chinese antiques collection. I collect Chinese blue and white porcelains, so they are all over the house! It seems like every time we like something, we end up collecting them. I also have more than a few mirrors.. odd, round, huge, old .. Wherever there is a wall :)

I used to collect a lot of different things but now mainly items that layer and clean easily. That's a beautiful picture, love that chair!
Love the chair, rare to see one dressed in leather, beautiful contrast. I´ve linked my blog to your, hope you don´t mind!

Absolutely OBSESSED. That leather chair is astounding. I love how the juvenile art is juxtaposed with the rococo table and gilded sconce.
What a beautiful and inspiring photo!
Have a nice day,

I do....and I do !
This is absolutely a great photo .. you can spend time admiring so many things :)
The composition is great, but not the content. The art is tasteless or banal.

Oh I love this. Little snippets of rooms are the best. I find displaying lots of trinkets on walls (shelving) is so lovely.
