I keep seeing beautiful oval mirrors at the flea market and saying to myself- what can I do with that? Hello- perfect use of the giant oval mirror.. Now I will never see one again I am sure! Isn't that how it always works...

gorgeous! I had a giant antique mirror looming over our bed in our paris hotel bedroom L'Hotel.
My husband kept on banging his head into it.....

I have almost the exact oval mirror that I painted in high gloss white it really looks great and I used it in my guest room which is in creams, white and very pale blue(only on the ceiling) Can't wait to see what you do with yours when you find it and don't worry you will, Kathysue

it's always that way. then you break down, buy something else, like a new oval mirror, and then you find the perfect old one.
I have a few round mirrors but none that are oval. I will have to do something about that !
did you add the carvings or were they a'ready on it?
