Are you ready?? I know I know. I should not forget that next week is Thanksgiving... but I am ready to toss out the pumpkins and bring in the greenery... You? Have you started your Holiday shopping??
Sure, it's an evocative photo, but the word "festive" only makes sense if you grew up in a Dickesnian orphanage. I can almost smell the damp ashes in the fireless grate.
What a gorgeous room, even though I am a color person! I disagree with Scrooge on the "bowl of cold gruel" - I think a bowl of hot oatmeal with brown sugar and walnuts, a cup of coffee, sitting at that table in my jammies with good friends... just sounds lovely!
I am trying to figure out how to keep my velvet pumpkins tied in with my Christmas tree when we decorate the day after Thanksgiving. Happy Holiday season!
Yea i know i think everyone is leaving it to the last minute...people are so busy. I think this photo is simply beautiful....get festive from Aussie Amanda x
So pretty! I am happy for you to publish this picture as we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia. Our tree is up and decorations are all over the city. It's wonderful!
This photo is rustic goodness at it's best... LOVE it! I am ready to move on to the Holiday greenery too. It has taking tremendous restraint not to put my tree up! Your blog is always so lovely. xo

How about a nice bowl of cold gruel?
