The wonderful things we can do with a little paint. I love love these stairs! I am not sure if the entire stair was once grey and has just worn away on the treads or not but is a very cool look. This is also showing me how putting color on the details in a space instead of the walls can be a great way to go!

It's a great look! What I think is so interesting is how beautiful the dark stained banister railing is with the grey.

I am agonising over how to redecorate my stairway and I am a big fan of the all-white makeover on banisters and stair-treads. I'm not so sure about how practical it is, though. So, I am quite excited about this picture. I hadn't thought gray could look so good.
