eclectic walls

I love the idea of an eclectic wall arrangement.  It takes some work and a lot of time to get it right but it can be so fun when it comes together.
What about you- do you like everything symmetrical and neat or does balanced and fun do the trick?

I tend to like things to be symmetrical, but when someone knows what they are doing an eclectic asymmetrical space can be nice too.

All the best...Cindy

Asymmetrical, if done with quality and cohesive color, rather than with random quantity, is stunning, as is this wall. Intrigued by the target practice poster, and the heavily distressed end table. (Very early)Sean, or Pierce, please come knock on my door!

I love the wonky wall arrangement! The whole picture is eye candy for me. I recently purchased a vintage target practice poster at Round Top Antiques Fair and am anxious to get it framed up. Your post has inspired me to move forward with the project.

Thanks! Dana

I'm a fan of symmetrical but oversized and unexpected. I love a HUGE painting, gallery wall or even something like antique doors.

I really do like both. Each one takes on its own personality and mood. This one is very cool...

Hello Chistina!
Love this eclectic wall. It's rare to see a 'vintage assembly' like this look so sleek. I love the 'gun target silhouette'. Morbid but so chic. :)

Hugs to you from Sweden.

xx Charlotta

I love this arrangement. I like symmetry but when I see how unexpected an arrangement can look it makes me want to branch out, be more daring. Great image.
