Fall seems like the perfect time to bring on the blues... the dark warm colors that are so beautiful.
I have a busy start to the week with meetings and installations, looking forward to completing some things though!!! It is hard when projects stretch on for months and then when they finally come to a close there is a sense of accomplishment. Sometimes it feels like you are letting go of a friend you have been spending a lot of time with.

Did I hear someone say the color blue? It is my favorite color. I love the images.
I bet its wonderful to come to the end of a project and have the satisfaction of knowing that you have given a client what they have always wanted.

Actually I'm feeling blue. My 2 weeks of holidays are coming to an end and I haven't got very far into my "must do" list or prepared to return to work.
I understand how difficult it is to say good-bye to clients after a long relationship - especially one in which emotions are involved. Best wishes.
Oh, Christina, I know about the completion of a project and the change of mindset to the new...bittersweet. I am excited about a plein air painting event a friend and I are doing in Branson, MO. We are flying out on Friday and my trip will include the Ozark and Mississippi River Valleys. I am expecting historic, limestone villages (some French!) along the Mississippi and lots of fall color and holiday decor as only the Midwest can do it.
I look forward to my daily visit 'with you' at Greige!
