Wood Texture..

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far!  I am not sure that we could ever use all of that wood even over several years!  But I like the cozy idea of it and oh how wonderful are those floors.

Love the contrasting mix of woods. We would use ten times that amount of wood per winter...snow country here. Enjoy your weekend!

Beautiful floors. They must be bracing for some severe Arctic weather. I like the look!

I absolutely love the look and texture of the wood stacked against the white walls! Gorgeous...

Minimalism at its best! As always, you find the perfect image to illustrate a style or a mood. Am about to set the table for most probably the last of our outdoor lunches..summer, you will be missed.

I can see a million spiders too, Sush. I live in Australia and I know full well within a month there would be millions in that pile!
Hey, wouldn't it be nice to have it all behind a big thick glass screen and you go get the wood from the other side via a door or something!
I DO love the floor though....Nice!

It is a beautiful image.
We took delivery of firewood yesterday and it is now all neatly stacked - in the cellar, not the living room.

How perfect is this room? So simple, calm, welcoming. Thanks for this. I'll be dreaming about it all day.

Gorgeous, I love the sophisticated, yet rustic quality of this room.
