Holiday entry..

I love this door with the boxwoods!  So simple and sweet!  Even though it is not officially December yet the Holidays are upon us!  I am excited to get into the full swing of things around here and see if I can catch that holiday spirit.

What do you do to prepare for the holidays?  I would love some tips on how you keep it all going!
Thank you all for your sweet birthday wishes!

I have that exact same image. There is something calm and soothing about
it. One tip I have is to have a holiday binder to refer to each year and to also stay true to your heart and your instincts. I loathe all the commerciality of the season. I love the spirit of the sparkle and the lights.

We always put up huge wreaths on our barn and home the day after Thanksgiving and that's all we'll put outside. We like to keep it simple but elegant! I hope you had a wonderful Birthday!

Sometimes a simple wreath makes the biggest statement. Love it.

Beautiful entry. Simple and classic. I've yet to get started on decorating. I like to keep things simple.

I've had this door pinned for some time and I keep going back to it. The simplicity is just beautiful! A very tasteful Christmas indeed

Beautiful, elegant and understated and the small pop of black just finishes it off!

A perfect entry! I adore boxwood - sadly it does not grow here in the Rockies...

What a beautiful Christmas entry! The festive season starts for me on the first of December. With Bing Crosby and a bottle of champagne I spend a day putting up the tree and decorating the house. Always festive!

Hello Christina!
I am sorry my comments have been so few and far apart. I seem to be reading all my favourite blogs on the run these days, and most often that happens on my iphone.

Just want you to know that I am 'here' and as loyal as always. I hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you had time to rewind and enjoy this special time of the year.

Lots of love from Sweden!

xx Charlotta

I love this understated elegance - my preferred Christmas style. I always have a dichromatic theme and preferred handmade to mass produced.
