So we hit the Rosebowl flea market on Sunday morning, it was a beautiful day thank goodness! I have been really happy with this flea market so far, it is full of great vendors and fantastic pieces! I completely fell in love with these giant vintage posters and art pieces. Each piece is mounted on a larger canvas for easy framing and storage. I so wanted the Louis Vuitton piece but is a little bold for me. I would be happy to point you in the direction of this vendor if only he had had a card for me. He is at the Rosebowl for every show unless it is raining on the isle against the fence near the entry.
Some amazing stadium lighting just in case you needed some! The boat too- there are some really interesting pieces to be found here.
I always love the vintage trophies and coral such a fun combination!
This vendor used some of our Lanet fabric for upholstery. So so cute I thought!
I was so excited to see Robert again. It has been months since I have bought any of his vintage textiles. I got some great pieces!! I love them for upholstery and pillows. There are some vintage pieces that I bought that I would love to reproduce (if anyone has any info on having your own fabric made I would love it).
Fred was there from Grenouille, I picked up this vintage ledger from him! I cannot wait to frame it up for the wall!
Of course there were some beautiful vintage clothing pieces, I just have not given into this idea yet. My sister says I am crazy!
I did get this super cute little hat though. Fun and great for a little shade on my nose!!
We were completely taken by the pieces in Mark from Create a Vision Antiques. My sister bought one of his converted lights for her living room. Which looked so very cool when we put it in! I am wishing I had one too!
My Bags were so full and so heavy! I was ready to head out before we even walked the entire show.
We did not find any dining chairs for my sister but we did get her a fantastic little curved back settee, I cannot wait to see it reupholstered and in her space.
I hope you are having a wonderful Monday so far!!

Christina, it sounds like you and your sister had a great day. Loved looking at all the goodies you found. You look so cute in the hat. My son got one for his birthday and he never takes it off.
Happy Monday, Cindy
Christina,
What a great venue for shopping! I've heard of the Rose Bowl flea market and was told it was really a great place to pick-up some nice flea market finds. I loved the blue textiles, and the mother of pearl knives. Lots of great items!
Thanks for sharing.

What a great day you girls had! Thanks for sharing all of the photos. Junking is so much fun isn't it?:)
You clearly gravitated toward a lot of the same things I was checking out at Rose Bowl yesterday, too. :-) I've been going every month for a while now, and it still always amazes me how much amazing Danish modern furniture there is, and some of it at pretty great prices (some not so much...).
I'm curious... have you ever found anything across the bridge in the clothing section, or around back of the stadium in the crafts section? I always walk through those areas (after furniture, of course), but I think I'll stay more focused from now on.
Looks like the show was a lot of fun and could you please go back and buy all those vintage dyed textiles, they look fabulous!
Love seeing the Rose Bowl through your eyes; especially love the indigo fabrics; I should set you up with a French rolling cart for your next trip!
WOW! fabulous stuff....smiles.
I am verdigris green with envy!
My God, it would be worth it to fly out for!
Hmmm....
I am so drooling over your pics of this flea market. I really loved the the large green bottles, the vintage suitcases and i know a friend who collects vintage Coke Cola signs. My son would really love that airplane as a fixture in his room. I can't wait to see your framed ledger.

Oh wow, are these original posters in the first image? I love each one so far. PLease I would like to know how much are they sold for and how can I get my hand on them? I live in Kuwait.
Annnnd, thank you for your wonderful blog.

I just read this post about a designer who put together her own fabric line (http://purestylehome.blogspot.com/2011/11/price-points-fabrics.html). It seems like an involved process (but most things are, I suppose).
Loved browsing the pics in your post!
