Gardens of Portugal

I was just remembering a wonderful garden that I visited in Portugal a few years back.  Day dreaming about it really.  It was the most amazing place that I think I have ever been to.   These are just a few pictures of the many many structures that made up the space.  It was something that we just happened upon after lunch one day.  Our waiter at lunch recommended that we go by and see it and we spent much of the afternoon exploring the huge terraced grounds and taking photos.

It reminds me of the coming of Spring and inspires me to get outside and make some changes!

Stunning! Breathtaking! Amazing! I love the Gardens of Europe - photos just don't do them justice. (I have never been to Portugal but would love to see this place!)
Thank you so much for sharing and have a wonderful Wednesday.

Beautiful gardens. Soon spring will be "busting" out all over! HA

As I look into our huge liquid amber trees, I see leaf buds ready to burst forth with spring greens. Even here in Southern California, we can observe the beauty and wonder of nature's seasons if we simply look! Looking at these magnificent gardens, the structures shine like stars in a vast green heaven.
Yes, please! Where in Portugal?
So beautiful, Christina!

Those pictures are B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L! If I did't live in Portugal already I also wanted to go there after seeing them! :))

That's Quinta da Regaleira or Regaleira for short, near Sintra. It's a place full of mystery and endless esoteric stories.

You can go here to see a virtual tour: cliente dot digisfera dot pt slash regaleira-2.7

Or Google Regaleira for more pictures.
