Always loving the over stated style of Ralph Lauren. This is always great to look at, I am just not sure I would be able to leave this chair as is- but is has great bones.
Look for our winners of the Vintage by Nina book tomorrow as well as a few other things.

I definitely couldn't leave the chair the way it is. Overall look is great!
so masculine..but that chair is a little too beat up by a boy..love the walls!
There is something that draws and invites about this vignette, albeit that it is not the comfort of the chair.
Looking nice and cool.
It is a wonderful corner of finds. Re chair: there is a difference between slighted worn or aged and tattered. Gorgeous recovered!

I love the accessories in this room but think the chair is a bit "overly tired" looking...a lovely linen or grain sack fabric would look lovely on this chair. :)
A lot of inspiration in this room!
Looks good, but I agree with Kris. A new linen would be perfect on this chair! @nne

Perfect armony!!!
I can smell that chair all the way over here.....
Looks like most of us commenters had the same reaction. As an upholsterer I've seen too many stomach-turning things hiding in the depths of chairs like this to embrace the current trend of tattered-is-beautiful-so-leave-it-as-is. BUT from a stylist's perspective, the vignette is gorgeous!
Cool page! Love the design. Nice post.
I'm still smiling at anonymous comment re: smelly! Couldn't/wouldn't leave that chair as is, the space is very pretty though
I adore everything about this pic. Although I agree, I wouldn't actually be able to live with the chair quite like that. Looks great though!
