When I first came across this home it was the kitchen that caught my eye, but I love fresh use of purple with the grey. I had two cabinets similar to these built on either side of my fireplace and I am trying to figure out which paint colors I want to use. Do I go grey to match the kitchen island and then a slightly lighter or darker shade of the same for the walls? Or do I use a creamy white as the backdrop?
The other think I love about this space is the mix- lately I have been loving the mix of modern in with a more relaxed country vibe. What do you think?

Yes, you are right: a touch of modern with relaxed country is lovely. Wonderful rooms, especially the kitchen. I love the double lanterns, brick flooring, and the lucite chairs.....nice and unexpected :)

Oh my gosh...so many beautiful things to love about this home. I adore the light bulb sculpture on the coffee table, the mirror over the fireplace, that sofa and that hairy pouf. I'd live in this space any day. Thanks for sharing.
I love these room, exactly my style! They're beautiful, simple but I the pops of soft colors against the neutrals really make it unique. The living room transitions perfectly into the kitchen!!
