I love this look, although I am not sure it is safe to do in every home. I can imagine my kids running by and getting snagged on them often. It is such a contemporary take on the lake house or hunting lodge don't you think?
I often wish we had a second home to relax in a simple place where the days of work would disappear and the quite family time would commence. I am curious how many of you have vacation homes- do you love them? Do you use them? Are they summer or winter getaways or both?

Very lovely. I grew up with this type of display in the Czech Republic so feels very comfortable to me.
Love the antlers, though yes they seem hung dangerously low here. I wish I had a second home that was close by; that being said, mine in Beaune is the best getaway ever for me; going in December for a few weeks yay!

I love this look - especially with white. I grew up in houses with hunting trophies and it doesn't bother me. We have a small second home in RI. I absolutely love it. It is very different from our home in VT and it feels like a vacation even we are only there for a long weekend. Interestingly, I don't love the area in the summer as much as I do in the 'off-season' when we go as often as we can.
